SUMMARY:Initiation à NVivo
DESCRIPTION:NVivo est un logiciel en soutien à l’analyse qualitative. Il facilite l’organisation et l’analyse de données non structurées.   \n\n\n\nCette initiation présentera les fonctionnalités de base du logiciel :   \n\n\n\n\nDémarrage d’un projet et interface \n\n\n\nImportation de sources textuelles \n\n\n\nEncodage du contenu \n\n\n\nFonctionnalités d’annotation\n\n\n\nQuelques fonctions d’exploration\n\n\n\n\nLes informations de connexion (lien Zoom) seront envoyées par courriel à votre adresse UQAM.  \n\n\n\nInformations importantes :  \n\n\n\n\nVeuillez télécharger et installer NVivo avant la formation. Notez qu’il ne sera pas possible d’offrir de l’aide à l’installation du logiciel durant le webinaire. Testez la création d’un nouveau projet en suivant la procédure dans le document joint (NVivo_Creer_projet\, plus bas sur cette page) pour vous assurer que tout est fonctionnel. Le personnel de la logithèque est disponible pour vous aider en cas de problème d’installation.   \n\n\n\nLa présentation sera faite avec la plus récente interface de NVivo\, soit la version 14 ou 15\, sur Windows (vous êtes bienvenu.e.s si vous utilisez la version Mac\, mais notez qu’elle présente des différences assez importantes).\n\n\n\nDans cette initiation\, nous couvrirons uniquement l’usage de NVivo avec des sources textuelles. Des documents pour les exercices seront transmis avec le courriel de rappel la veille du webinaire. \n\n\n\nCette initiation n’est pas une formation sur les approches et méthodologies d’analyse qualitative\, elle se limite à la présentation des fonctionnalités du logiciel. SUMMARY:Introduction to the Alliance & ARC for HSS
DESCRIPTION:Date: September 22nd\, 2026 at 9am PT | 10am MT | 12pm ET | 2pm AT\n\n\n\nDuration: 1 hour\n\n\n\nLanguage of instruction: English\n\n\n\n\nThis workshop will introduce participants to the Digital Research Alliance of Canada (the Alliance). The Alliance supports Canadian researchers in the areas of advanced research computing\, research data management and research software. The Alliance also provides access to cloud computing and high-performance computing. Participants will be guided through the process of accessing these resources\, and of getting support when using them. Throughout the workshop\, participants will learn why and how ARC is useful in the humanities and social sciences. \n\n\n\nRegister here! \n\n\n\nInstructor: Maria Sigridur Finnsdottir is the Humanities and Social Sciences Specialist with the Digital Research Services team at the University of Alberta. She holds a PhD in Sociology awarded from the University of Toronto in 2024. She is also the chair of the national HSS team at the Digital Research Alliance of Canada.
