Digital Tools for Community Engaged Teaching and Learning

Join the Sherman Centre and the Office of Community Engagement for an interactive workshop exploring digital tools and techniques that can enhance community-engaged courses. Through demonstrations, discussion, and hands-on exploration, participants will learn how to evaluate digital tools for specific teaching and partnership goals, identify best practices for implementation, and discover practical tips and tricks for getting started. From audience engagement platforms like Mentimeter to text analysis tools such as Voyant and collaboration spaces like Slack, this session will showcase a range of accessible technologies that can support meaningful community engagement, communication, and learning.
