A data management plan (DMP) is a document that outlines the organization, storage, and sharing of your research data. A DMP addresses phases of the data management lifecycle, and supports the management of research data for your project. As DMPs are increasingly required for a variety of funding programs, this workshop introduces the steps to create a DMP using the Canadian DMP Assistant tool for best practices in data management across all disciplines. Instructors: Lily Ren, Ricardo Laskaris, Stephanie Quail
This workshop will cover:
• Best practices around data management
• Considerations for data management planning
