Introduction to Python Data Analysis

Dates: 14th-17th May 2024

This course introduces students to core concepts in Python programming, data creation, and data analysis. The course assumes no prior programming or Python knowledge. Students will be introduced to the Python programming language and will use Python to collect, curate, and analyze data. They will create data structures, use programming libraries to manipulate and work with data, and develop their own functions. Students will learn to use APIs to connect their programs to external libraries and data sources and will engage in distant reading of social media.
